Owned by the Public Belt Railway and operated by Illinois Central
Railroad employees, East Bridge Jct. track-switching station in New Orleans,
Louisiana, handled trains from the following railroads: Public Belt, Southern
Pacific, Union Pacific, Norfolk Southern, CSX, Illinois Central, and Kansas
City Southern.
There is also the West Bridge Jct., located at Avondale,
Louisiana, and operated by Union Pacific Employees. The Southport Jct. tower,
located two miles south of East Bridge Jct, is operated by Illinois Central
employees.
